IFK Almis United's Åke Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Bambas in the 28th minute of play. Lukas Bambas took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Ahlroht. Åke Ahlroht dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Lukas Bambas might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Åke Ahlroht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukas Bambas ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, IFK Almis United's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Bambas came free, but Åke Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Bambas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åke Ahlroht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Bambas in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Lukas Bambas managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Perugia Calcio's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukas Bambas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Ahlroht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lukas Bambas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brede Bonk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Forssberg in the 52nd minute of play forced IFK Almis United's goalkeeper Åke Ahlroht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
