Kristian Vallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Kleen in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Borges came free, but Sune Mur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Odens Boys Bollklubb's Fritz Öberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Sune Mur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Mazinho Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milan were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Odens Boys Bollklubb's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joachim Martinsson took the corner. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Joélson Van Landschoot put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kristian Vallander. In the 21st minute, Mazinho Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Milan's Joélson Van Landschoot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristian Vallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Joélson Van Landschoot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristian Vallander was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. A collision led to Odens Boys Bollklubb getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aníbal Barca hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Gulliksson in the 37th minute of play forced Milan's goalkeeper Sune Mur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joélson Van Landschoot took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristian Vallander. Kristian Vallander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Barca got free with Sune Mur in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Mazinho Borges made the kick off in the second half. Sune Mur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Gulliksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Milan's goalkeeper Sune Mur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Axel Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Milan getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mats Söderström hit a great ball. In the 57thth minute of the game Mazinho Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milan's Sune Mur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christofere Van Cleijnenbreughel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th play minute Joélson Van Landschoot came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kristian Vallander. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Söderström in the 70th minute of play forced Odens Boys Bollklubb's goalkeeper Kristian Vallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Mazinho Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Mur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odens Boys Bollklubb's Kristian Vallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Van Landschoot in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match, Mats Söderström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristian Vallander saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mats Söderström took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristian Vallander. Kristian Vallander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. With a little luck, Odens Boys Bollklubb's Kristian Vallander got control of the ball when Mats Söderström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Milan's goalie and right to Magnus Gulliksson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Milan's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 93 minutes into the match, Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Borges came free, but Sune Mur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joélson Van Landschoot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Milan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Milan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
