But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walery Fikus couldn't finish the play. Jürgen Trittin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Niklas Bröms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Bratt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niklas Bröms having to make a save. The supporters of Kattvik kings booed when Kerkûk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Fino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Fikus in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Bratt in the 35th minute of play forced Kerkûk FC's goalkeeper Niklas Bröms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Björk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niklas Bröms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Bratt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Casper Hultin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvar Arvidsson made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when John Wick sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Bratt made a kick off. Niklas Bröms made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when John Bratt sent off a good shot on target. Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Wick in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes Kattvik kings's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walery Fikus who took care of the corner kick. Şenel Zeval's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Niklas Bröms skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Şenel Zeval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Bratt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kerkûk FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kattvik kings had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
