After a rather tough play, Alvesta GIF's Harry Nordlander got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Roy Åberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Ahlström's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. When Kent Kihlman fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvesta GIF's protests and gave Kent Kihlman a yellow card for diving instead. Alvesta GIF were furious when Harry Nordlander was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Alvesta GIF:s Roy Åberg showed great skill when he stopped Linus Berglund:s penalty. After 32 played minutes Hölö Mörkö IF got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Bengtsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Ahlström in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Åberg saved Alvesta GIF from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Alvesta GIF's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Onea came free, but Roy Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roy Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Kvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Ahlström in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, 崔正烨 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvesta GIF's supporters crossed their fingers, but 崔正烨 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mikael Ahlström made the kick off in the second half. Roy Åberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Ahlström's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. If Philip Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulrik Bengtsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roy Åberg could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Mikael Ahlström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roy Åberg was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Bengt-Åke Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 崔正烨, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 61 minutes, Mikael Ahlström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 69th minute Mikael Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 崔正烨 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bengt-Åke Fågel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 崔正烨 might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt-Åke Fågel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 崔正烨 ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute Mikael Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Åke Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 崔正烨, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With an all-out effort, Hölö Mörkö IF's Roy Åberg threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mikael Ahlström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute, Linus Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alvesta GIF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hölö Mörkö IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
