Spectators: 8038 (Terracing: 6029, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joachim Käller took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Greger Josefsson in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joacim Hultman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Småland Utd booed when Olivedals BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Målare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joacim Hultman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Stabbe in the 8th minute of play. Joachim Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonny Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Joacim Hultman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Småland Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Stabbe came free, but Joacim Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Småland Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Käller came free, but Joacim Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Sven-Ove Lövgren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ludvig Forsberg. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Käller in the 37th minute of play forced Småland Utd's goalkeeper Joacim Hultman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greger Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Hultman having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Berggren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Joachim Käller dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joacim Hultman, 1-2. Joachim Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joacim Hultman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Joachim Käller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Lövgren in the 60th minute of play forced Olivedals BK's goalkeeper Ludvig Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Olivedals BK's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Berggren came free, but Ludvig Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Olivedals BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greger Josefsson couldn't finish the play. Olivedals BK's Jonny Nyberg got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 83 in the game by Joachim Käller from a close distance when the talented Joacim Hultman managed to make a qualified save. Småland Utd's players were relieved. In the 85th minute Olivedals BK were awarded a corner. Jonny Nyberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Joachim Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Frank Berggren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
