Edvin Vassenius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Metsberg went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 39 minutes A2 IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oséas Ferraz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vålådalen's corner Oséas Ferraz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nils-Erik Alin quite easily take care of the ball. Edvin Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Metsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Nils-Erik Alin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Glad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Vålådalen were awarded a corner. Oséas Ferraz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Oséas Ferraz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A2 IF's Nils-Erik Alin did a great save. After the first half A2 IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Diego Moreno made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Vålådalen's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Hansson came free, but Edvin Vassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toader Drogba might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvin Vassenius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toader Drogba ran back to his position shaking his head. Toader Drogba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Edvin Vassenius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edvin Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börge Sundström in the 60th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Börge Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dong Wei Yang in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Erik Alin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Diego Moreno put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nils-Erik Alin. A2 IF made a substitution. Bo Pettersson replaced Tobias Käller. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Moreno in the 76th minute of play forced A2 IF's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Alin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Oscar Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Oscar Benet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvin Vassenius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The A2 IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
