Spectators: 7997 (Terracing: 5999, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC St. Pauli's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vidar Gummeson was slow to take the kick. During this time Söderhall's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vidar Gummeson got free with Buach Byrne in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Söderhall's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Bremming came free, but Svante Stenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Alexandre Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, FC St. Pauli's goalkeeper Buach Byrne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qi Yang Guang. Raik Ağın's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svante Stenqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Buach Byrne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clas Nørstrup's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Motta in the 32nd minute of play forced FC St. Pauli's goalkeeper Buach Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes FC St. Pauli got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Brandin. Svante Stenqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Enegren's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When Söderhall's Clas Nørstrup in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC St. Pauli's goalie prevented a goal. If Qi Yang Guang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Söderhall's Clas Nørstrup was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 48th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Enegren to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Söderhall's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Enegren came free, but Svante Stenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Söderhall were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after FC St. Pauli's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vidar Gummeson took the corner. FC St. Pauli's Buach Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qi Yang Guang in the 61st minute of play. After some careless play in the FC St. Pauli defense, Clas Nørstrup kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Buach Byrne. The FC St. Pauli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Buach Byrne should have stopped the shot. Buach Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 80 minutes, Clas Nørstrup managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Söderhall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clas Nørstrup was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buach Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Åke Alebeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of FC St. Pauli booed when Söderhall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Clas Nørstrup came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Söderhall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clas Nørstrup couldn't finish the play. After 95 minutes of play, Söderhall's Sven-Åke Alebeck made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Buach Byrne was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 98th minute, Sven-Åke Alebeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Buach Byrne was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Söderhall walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
