Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvar Löfkvist in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Pihlberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Löfkvist came free, but Jan Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Blombacka AIF fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Blombacka AIF's Alvar Löfkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Villiam Söderberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Stor's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Blombacka AIF's goalkeeper Villiam Söderberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horia Tătaru. Horia Tătarus short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Villiam Söderberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Villiam Söderberg made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gösta Alrot sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Blombacka AIF's goalkeeper Villiam Söderberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gösta Alrot. In the 42nd minute, Alvar Löfkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Apelkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ashley Cole got free with Villiam Söderberg in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Blombacka AIF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Blombacka AIF getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mark Fanström hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Bernt Larsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Villiam Söderberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Blombacka AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Alrot came free, but Villiam Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Preator Edikt booed when Blombacka AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Apelkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Ashley Cole sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Villiam Söderberg skillfully saved the ball. Håkan Ekrot hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes Preator Edikt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henric Duset who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Olimpiu Rizea drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Preator Edikt's goalkeeper. After a rather tough play, Blombacka AIF's Lokman Tokkan got a free kick in the 69th minute. Blombacka AIF's Villiam Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Tătaru in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute Gösta Alrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villiam Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Alrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Preator Edikt's Fryderyk Gorzkiewicz got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 杨银昂 in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Pihlberg saved Preator Edikt from getting behind. Gösta Alrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Villiam Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Stor in the 88th minute of play forced Blombacka AIF's goalkeeper Villiam Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Blombacka AIF's Håkan Ekrot got a free kick in the 91st minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Ashley Cole managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Preator Edikt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ashley Cole was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Preator Edikt lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
