Seating: 1867, VIP seats: 161) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florian Candeloro took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Nilsson came free, but Zekai Suat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zekai Suat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Lundberg in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Allan Lundgren made a precise shot to the right of Zekai Suat. Malmö FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute Torsten Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zekai Suat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Nilsson in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Malmö FF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Haström hit a great ball. Allan Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Anton Svensson made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Dries Vedder sent off a good shot on target. Dries Vedder spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ÅFF J's goal. Dries Vedder charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dries Vedder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute Allan Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zekai Suat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Torsten Sundström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ÅFF J's Anton Svensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nils-Emil Lundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Zekai Suat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th play minute Florian Candeloro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anton Svensson. 1-2. Allan Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekai Suat having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Nilsson made a kick off. Anton Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dries Vedder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malmö FF's Zekai Suat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Malmö FF from getting a goal against them. Allan Lundgrens short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Zekai Suat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 60th minute Nils-Emil Lundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zekai Suat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Candeloro in the 61st minute of play forced ÅFF J's goalkeeper Anton Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Svensson came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Malmö FF's Dries Vedder. But to his dismay, Dries Vedder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Allan Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Zekai Suat made a huge save. 67 minutes into the game, Allan Lundgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zekai Suat. Allan Lundgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Malmö FF made a substitution. Ulrik Holmberg replaced Dries Vedder. Malmö FF made a substitution. Emanuel Larsfält replaced Calle Gustafsson. Zekai Suat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Örnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 75 minutes, Torsten Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malmö FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Sundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ÅFF J's Anton Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Sundström in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Malmö FF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bobby Moore hit a great ball. Zekai Suat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Torsten Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bobby Moore's late challenge caught a ÅFF J's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bobby Moore helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Malmö FF got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Moore. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Sören Örnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÅFF J's supporters rose to their feet, but Sören Örnberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zekai Suat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, ÅFF J's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Sundström came free, but Anton Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malmö FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Per-Åke Sundberg in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind ÅFF J's goalkeeper Anton Svensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
