A collision led to HisingsBacka FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Malte Askestät hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Errikos Tsagaris sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gösta Hjälm skillfully saved the ball. Gösta Hjälm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Musteatã in the 14th minute of play. Harry Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Löfskog in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Adam Lindmark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HisingsBacka FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 22nd minute Jakob Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aro FC's Harry Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Löfskog in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Aro FC defense, Jakob Löfskog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harry Higuita. The Aro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harry Higuita should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Aro FC booed when HisingsBacka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Lindmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Evaristo Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th match minute, Aro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qin Jian to maneuver through the defense. Harry Higuita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakob Löfskog went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. If Jakob Löfskog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Ola Toivonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Askestät in the 52nd minute of play forced Aro FC's goalkeeper Harry Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Malte Askestät got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Harry Higuita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gösta Hjälm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Errikos Tsagaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Aro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Movileanu came free, but Harry Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HisingsBacka FC's Gösta Hjälm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Svartengren in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Adam Lindmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HisingsBacka FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Lindmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gösta Hjälm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Toivonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Aro FC defense, Jakob Löfskog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harry Higuita. The Aro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harry Higuita should have stopped the shot. Sandu Musteatã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavian Movileanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Higuita having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched HisingsBacka FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
