If Per Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Svartengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Hedlund in the 9th minute. When Hallstahammar IK's Alexei Karamazov in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Säffle's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomil Bycofski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Svartengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joseph Svartengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Hedlund in the 29th minute. In the 52nd minute, Örjan Axelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Säffle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Säffle were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Hallstahammar IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. George Jernberg took the corner. After taking down the ball on Säffle's corner George Jernberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joseph Svartengren quite easily take care of the ball. Joseph Svartengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Hedlund in the 59th minute of play. Joseph Svartengren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Hedlund's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Alexei Karamazov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Jesper Lidberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joshua Netthöfel charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Netthöfel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Säffle getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Joshua Netthöfel hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Bycofski came free, but Joseph Svartengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Säffle were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Hallstahammar IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. George Jernberg took the corner. Karl Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. George Jernberg struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Joseph Svartengren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Säffle. Alexei Karamazov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesper Lidberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Nordström in the 78th minute. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Säffle's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erik Browall was slow to take the kick. During this time Hallstahammar IK's players had a chance to rest. Erik Browall made a great header on Hallstahammar IK's corner, it was just that Säffle's Jesper Lidberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Hallstahammar IK's Joseph Svartengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Hedlund in the 94th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
