After 9 minutes of play, Aro FC's Sune Svartengren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augustus Batalla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aro FC's Ola Toivonen got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15thth minute of the game Sune Svartengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ralles Bollklubb's Augustus Batalla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ralles Bollklubb's goalkeeper Augustus Batalla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ralles Bollklubb's Augustus Batalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Toivonen in the 19th minute of play. Augustus Batalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Toivonen in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sune Svartengren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augustus Batalla was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Takeshi Tachibana hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Johannes Ahlquist thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Augustus Batalla, a very annoying self made goal in the 34th minute which led to 0-2. Sune Svartengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustus Batalla having to interfere. Harry Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Hanmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aro FC's Harry Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Hanmark in the 39th minute of play. The Aro FC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Aro FC's Sune Svartengren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sune Svartengren made a kick off. Sune Svartengrens short, quick shot in the 50thth minute got Augustus Batalla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sune Svartengren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augustus Batalla having to make a save. After having played for 53 minutes, Leif Classon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ralles Bollklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Classon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augustus Batalla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sune Svartengren in the 63rd minute. Augustus Batalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Svartengren in the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ralles Bollklubb's Augustus Batalla got control of the ball when Sune Svartengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sune Svartengren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Augustus Batalla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ralles Bollklubb's Augustus Batalla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Ralles Bollklubb from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Sune Svartengren took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Augustus Batalla to make any attempt to save it. After 76 played minutes Ralles Bollklubb got a freekick which was hit by Leif Classon. With a little luck, Ralles Bollklubb's Augustus Batalla got control of the ball when Sune Svartengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Aro FC's Sune Svartengren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Augustus Batalla. That made the score 0-5 after 77 minutes of play. Augustus Batalla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sune Svartengren in the 80th minute. Augustus Batalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Svartengren in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Bror Hanmark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ralles Bollklubb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aro FC the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Sandu Musteatã hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
