The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thomas Runeberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tymoteusz Misiorowski's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Dexiators's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Almkvist came free, but Matthias Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthias Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Almkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Gustafsson in the 15th minute of play forced Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Thomas Runeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Almkvist in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Lennart Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dexiators fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Lennart Johansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dexiators's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolverhampton the free kick. A collision led to Dexiators getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Lennart Johansson hit a great ball. The supporters of Dexiators booed when Wolverhampton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Granström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Runeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Misiorowski in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Tymoteusz Misiorowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Runeberg. Wolverhampton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tymoteusz Misiorowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Matthias Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Almkvist in the 35th minute of the match. Matthias Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Almkvist in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Dexiators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Hökqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Tymoteusz Misiorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 minutes of play, Dexiators's Max Gustafsson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Runeberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Thomas Runeberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute, Tymoteusz Misiorowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Runeberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Sotiris Koupepes took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matthias Lindgren. Matthias Lindgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dexiators eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
