Hagfors's Mariusz Bejgier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Hagfors from getting a goal against them. Allan Hedvall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Colas Morales's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The Hagfors fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Hagfors's Colas Morales looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Dahlberg in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariusz Bejgier saved Hagfors from getting behind. Allan Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colas Morales in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Östen Lägdin got free with Mariusz Bejgier in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Zhan Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Hedvall was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After having played for 47 minutes, Feng Bo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hagfors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feng Bo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Allan Hedvall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Colas Morales's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. FC White Blues's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Dick Hellbom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariusz Bejgier. Hagfors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dick Hellbom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hagfors! Herminio Emmanuel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Allan Hedvall having to make a save. 93 minutes into the game, Karl-Oskar Ljungberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC White Blues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hagfors the free kick. After 93 played minutes FC White Blues got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Oskar Ljungberg. Allan Hedvall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Emmanuel in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Hermansson in the 96th minute of play forced Hagfors's goalkeeper Mariusz Bejgier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Oskar Ljungberg kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
