Spectators: 8029 (Terracing: 6023, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adrian Bark took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vilgot Palmquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Bark's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Övertorneå RK's Andreas Björkqvist made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvid Säv was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arvid Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Björkqvist in the 15th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Sparsör BF got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Ratulowski. After 21 played minutes Sparsör BF got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Asklund. Arvid Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Tomasson in the 23rd minute of the match. Olov Almkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Björkqvist in the 36th minute of play forced Sparsör BF's goalkeeper Arvid Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Bark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vilgot Palmquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Sparsör BF got a freekick which was hit by Brand Adis. Arvid Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Björkqvist in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry Almqvist made a kick off. Adrian Bark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas Björkqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Säv having to interfere. With his leg Vilgot Palmquist managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Sparsör BF's Adrian Bark fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Per-Oskar Bergsten hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Cesaro in the 61st minute of play forced Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Vilgot Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Arrigo Maestri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Pedro Mech notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Sparsör BF's Arvid Säv. Arvid Säv was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vilgot Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Bark in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Sparsör BF's Aurelio Cesaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vilgot Palmquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77thth minute of the game Adrian Bark who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Övertorneå RK's Vilgot Palmquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brand Adis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Övertorneå RK made a substitution. Ulf Zachrisson replaced Andreas Björkqvist. A collision led to Övertorneå RK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Vilgot Håkansson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Zachrisson in the 88th minute of play forced Sparsör BF's goalkeeper Arvid Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Övertorneå RK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sparsör BF for a fine match.
