Vilhelm Brander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyril Keller, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Vilhelm Brander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyril Keller in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Kosmas Menegakis came free, but Vilhelm Brander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Åke Galle hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Zachariasz Pietras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Mikaelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilhelm Brander came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Bomba FF's Cyril Keller. But to his dismay, Cyril Keller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th minute of the match Nils Mikaelsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zachariasz Pietras showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Kosmas Menegakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Brander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Karl-Michael Smed managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Cyril Keller made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyril Keller in the 53rd minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Vilhelm Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cyril Keller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Vilhelm Brander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Bomba FF's Cyril Keller in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kronan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute, Per-Åke Galle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kosmas Menegakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Vilhelm Brander made a huge save. After 65 played minutes Bomba FF got a freekick which was hit by Åke Lekberg. In the 78th minute, Bomba FF's Cyril Keller ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vilhelm Brander. Vilhelm Brander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Kosmas Menegakis came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vilhelm Brander could save by the left post. Vilhelm Brander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kosmas Menegakis in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Bomba FF got a corner. Kronan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Máté Sólyom ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Bomba FF's corner Máté Sólyom fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vilhelm Brander quite easily take care of the ball. Zachariasz Pietras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Mikaelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the Kronan defense, Kosmas Menegakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilhelm Brander. The Kronan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilhelm Brander should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kosmas Menegakis got free with Vilhelm Brander in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vilhelm Brander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyril Keller in the 97th minute. Bomba FF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
