INIXET BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Kristian Tomasson scored to the left of an out of position Kent Näver, making the score, 2-0. Olov Almkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Kent Näver made a huge save. Kent Näver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Alström came free, but Vilgot Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Näver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of INIXET BK booed when Övertorneå RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Matthew didn't get a good kick on the ball.
