Nuralp Ünlüol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Vilhelm Brander made a huge save. Vilhelm Brander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuralp Ünlüol in the 14th minute. Kevin Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Galle in the 17th minute of play. Ivan Majlandt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilhelm Brander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Kevin Lang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Mikaelsson in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the game Jonathan Quexal made a throw-in which Camille Drame played forward. Vilhelm Brander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Majlandt in the 27th minute of play. FC Defenders's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evert Bergendahl in the 28th minute. The corner ended in Evert Bergendahl almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kronan's Vilhelm Brander did a great save. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Magnus Strömbom hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, FC Defenders's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Mikaelsson came free, but Kevin Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuralp Ünlüol hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Defenders's goalkeeper Kevin Lang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kevin Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Galle in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Ivan Majlandt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Brander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sigvard Qvarnström hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kronan's zone, Evert Bergendahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilhelm Brander came out of the goal and Evert Bergendahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Majlandt to make the kick off. Vilhelm Brander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Majlandt in the 53rd minute of play. Vilhelm Brander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuralp Ünlüol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kronan's Per-Åke Galle got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuralp Ünlüol in the 61st minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Vilhelm Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Defenders's Ivan Majlandt got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, FC Defenders's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Drame came free, but Kevin Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Mikaelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kevin Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Karlstedt during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Anders Karlstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Nuralp Ünlüol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Defenders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. FC Defenders were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kronan for a fine match.
