Spectators: 7946 (Terracing: 6013, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 159) FC Pepsi's Kanu Kanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Stoke FF defense, Kanu Kanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niclas Andersson. The Stoke FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niclas Andersson should have stopped the shot. FC Pepsi's Paul Holmstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Motta in the 6th minute of play. Stoke FF's Bozkurt Orkun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lars Hedlund, made in the 8th minute of the game. Paul Holmstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Browall in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Browall in the 10th minute of play forced FC Pepsi's goalkeeper Paul Holmstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes Stoke FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lars Hedlund who took care of the corner kick. Lars Hedlund made a great header on FC Pepsi's corner, it was just that Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Kihlberg in the 16th minute of play forced FC Pepsi's goalkeeper Paul Holmstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, FC Pepsi's Joshua Sammut Castelletti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Paul Holmstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho Motta's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Hubert Ekerot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Niclas Andersson made a huge save. Marcelinho Motta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Holmstedt having to make a save. Paul Holmstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Motta in the 32nd minute of the match. The Stoke FF fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Stoke FF's Kent Browall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 36 minutes into the match, Stoke FF's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Lucente came free, but Niclas Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes Stoke FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lars Hedlund who took care of the corner kick. 40 minutes into the match, FC Pepsi's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Motta came free, but Paul Holmstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Pontus Granlund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paul Holmstedt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 42nd minute, FC Pepsi's Kanu Kanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niclas Andersson. Niclas Andersson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. 46 minutes into the match, Stoke FF's goal looked a bit too open when Lv Yuan Kuan came free, but Niclas Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Alf Klint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kent Browall to make the kick off. Marcelinho Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Paul Holmstedt made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Stoke FF's Per-Oskar Kihlberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paul Holmstedt. That made the score 3-4 after 52 minutes of play. Marcelinho Motta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Holmstedt having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, FC Pepsi's goalkeeper Paul Holmstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelinho Motta. 59 minutes into the match, Lv Yuan Kuan notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson. Niclas Andersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 62 played minutes FC Pepsi got a freekick which was hit by Lars Hedlund. Niclas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kanu Kanu in the 66th minute of play. Niclas Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Sammut Castelletti in the 66th minute of the match. Marcelinho Motta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Holmstedt having to make a save. When Stoke FF's Per-Oskar Kihlberg in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Stoke FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
