Vilgot Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Drame in the 3rd minute of play. In the 8th minute Kristian Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Brander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilhelm Brander made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Harry Almqvist sent off a good shot on target. Vilgot Palmquist came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Kronan's Nils Mikaelsson. But to his dismay, Nils Mikaelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vilhelm Brander made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Saverio Matthew sent off a good shot on target. Vilgot Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Drame, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Saverio Matthew kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Kronan got a freekick which was hit by Bror Lundqvist. Kristian Tomasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Vilhelm Brander made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Nils Mikaelsson made a precise shot to the right of Vilgot Palmquist. Övertorneå RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 30th minute, Saverio Matthew fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Pedro Mech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilhelm Brander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Matthew in the 33rd minute of the match. Vilhelm Brander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Almqvist in the 37th minute. Vilgot Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Mikaelsson in the 39th minute of the match. Kronan's Vilhelm Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Matthew in the 40th minute of play. Övertorneå RK's Vilgot Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Drame in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Mikaelsson came free, but Vilgot Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils Mikaelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Kristian Tomasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Brander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 55 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Tomasson came free, but Vilhelm Brander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Mikaelsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Vilgot Palmquist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Camille Drame could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Vilgot Palmquist made a huge save. Vilhelm Brander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Saverio Matthew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Tomasson in the 66th minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Vilhelm Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Kristian Tomasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kronan's Vilhelm Brander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Harry Almqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vilhelm Brander. Kronan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harry Almqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 83 played minutes, Övertorneå RK's Harry Almqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vilhelm Brander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Övertorneå RK reached it. After a rather tough play, Kronan's John Eliasson got a free kick in the 84th minute. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kronan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Almqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Övertorneå RK's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Harry Almqvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kronan's Vilhelm Brander did a great save. In the 92nd minute Kristian Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Brander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bror Lundqvist scored 4-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilgot Palmquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kronan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
