An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Rosen in the 11th minute of play forced Mugiwara FC's goalkeeper Sune Bolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugiwara FC's Sune Bolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Rosen in the 13th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Mugiwara FC got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Kjellman. Rutger Landin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Kjellman in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Mugiwara FC's Zebastian Kjellman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rutger Landin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zebastian Kjellman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Rutger Landin made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glenn Wester in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rutger Landin saved The Great Ottoman Empire from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Haeger in the 25th minute of play forced Mugiwara FC's goalkeeper Sune Bolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Mugiwara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Rosen came free, but Sune Bolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Birger Tinglöf fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Great Ottoman Empire's protests and gave Birger Tinglöf a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes The Great Ottoman Empire got a freekick which was hit by Birger Tinglöf. In the 28th minute, Joey Veerman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and The Great Ottoman Empire's Rutger Landin didn't even have to move. Sune Bolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jay-Jay Fahlgren in the 30th minute of play. Zebastian Kjellman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rutger Landin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Glenn Wester could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Rutger Landin made a huge save. In the 39thth minute of the game Glenn Wester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Great Ottoman Empire's Rutger Landin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rutger Landin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zebastian Kjellman's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Thanks to some nice moves Kjell-Arne Jakobsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Sune Bolin however easily saved by the left post. Mugiwara FC's Sune Bolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Mugiwara FC from getting a goal against them. Rutger Landin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Mugiwara FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
