Frogner's Egil Blom was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kurt Björk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Östen Gunnarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Kurt Björk made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Princs Peach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Gunnarsson in the 53rd minute of play forced Frogner's goalkeeper Sixten Dahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bänknötarnas BK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jan-Åke Vallman hit a great ball. Frogner were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bänknötarnas BK to leave the ground with a draw.
