Benigno Urruchua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixten Dahlgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Frogner booed when Trojanskahästen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trojanskahästen's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Urruchua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Dahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Frogner's Dag Nordlander got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Trojanskahästen's Roger Josefsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Frogner. The Frogner fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Frogner's Adrian Sikström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Frogner were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Sikström made a kick off. David Lange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kjell Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Sikström in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kjell Sandström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell Sandström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Sikström in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kjell Sandström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Trojanskahästen getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Erik Jonasson hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Adrian Sikström put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Kjell Sandström. After 78 played minutes Trojanskahästen got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Albom. Frogner's Robert Hammarbäck was substituted for Allan Kilstedt. Per-Oskar Albom hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Trojanskahästen's Kjell Sandström got control of the ball when Adrian Sikström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Gustavo Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Sixten Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Erik Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trojanskahästen's Kjell Sandström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Trojanskahästen from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Frogner's Kjell Sandström threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrian Sikström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adrian Sikström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Kjell Sandström when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
