Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Kurt Offendahl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Bänknötarnas BK's zone, Alvar Torsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Björk came out of the goal and Alvar Torsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Göransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Kurt Offendahl made a huge save. Torpa Bollklubb's Kurt Offendahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Torpa Bollklubb from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Torpa Bollklubb fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Alvin Petersson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Sven Göransson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Torpa Bollklubb booed when Bänknötarnas BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torpa Bollklubb's Kurt Offendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Göransson in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Bänknötarnas BK booed when Torpa Bollklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reine Hedström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Alvin Petersson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bänknötarnas BK's Tage Dahlqvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 32nd minute, Bänknötarnas BK's Kent Gunnarsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Kurt Offendahl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Gunnarsson in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Gunnarsson got free with Kurt Offendahl in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Bänknötarnas BK were awarded a corner. Jan-Åke Vallman went to the cornerflag to take it. Kurt Offendahl came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Bänknötarnas BK's Kent Gunnarsson. But to his dismay, Kent Gunnarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kent Gunnarsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Sven Göransson made a precise shot to the right of Kurt Offendahl. Torpa Bollklubb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Torpa Bollklubb's Kurt Offendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Göransson in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Gunnarsson in the 60th minute of play forced Torpa Bollklubb's goalkeeper Kurt Offendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Bänknötarnas BK got a corner. Torpa Bollklubb's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan-Åke Vallman ran over to the corner to take the kick. 65 minutes into the match, Bänknötarnas BK's Kent Gunnarsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kurt Offendahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kurt Offendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Offendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Göransson in the 68th minute of play. Sven Göransson scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurt Offendahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven Göransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Offendahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Kent Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Göransson in the 77th minute of play forced Torpa Bollklubb's goalkeeper Kurt Offendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Torpa Bollklubb defense, Sven Göransson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Offendahl. The Torpa Bollklubb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Offendahl should have stopped the shot. Kurt Offendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Torpa Bollklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Göransson came free, but Kurt Offendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Gunnarsson in the 91st minute of play forced Torpa Bollklubb's goalkeeper Kurt Offendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvin Petersson made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bänknötarnas BK's Tage Dahlqvist. Jan-Åke Vallman struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Kurt Offendahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bänknötarnas BK. Bänknötarnas BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
