The Mockfjärd FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bo Örtendahl should have stopped the shot. Bo Örtendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Granberg in the 21st minute of play forced Frogner's goalkeeper Sixten Dahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Frogner's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Thomas came free, but Sixten Dahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Örtendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Sikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mockfjärd FF's Bo Örtendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Sikström in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ramiro Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mockfjärd FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Thomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Dahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert Granberg to make the kick off. Ragnar Bröms's late challenge caught a Frogner's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sixten Dahlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Granberg in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Frogner booed when Mockfjärd FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Ellerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 95 minutes into the match, Mockfjärd FF's goalkeeper Bo Örtendahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Östen Gunnarsson. The Frogner supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Frogner would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
