The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Dingos from hell's Alexander Arenberg got a free kick in the 5th minute. Guo Han Di took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Staarman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guo Han Di showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Brun in the 14th minute of the match. When Dingos from hell's Laurence Espinoza in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oldham Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. Guo Han Di came out of the goal and Ivar Hjortsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Oldham Athletic's Filippo Bobbio got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurence Espinoza in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guo Han Di prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guo Han Di stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurence Espinoza's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Jan-Olof Wallmark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 28th minute. Laurence Espinoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Guo Han Di tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Cristian-Federico Dolić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Olof Wallmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Cristian-Federico Dolić notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Dingos from hell's Jan-Olof Wallmark. Jan-Olof Wallmark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Or Kester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oldham Athletic's Guo Han Di played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurence Espinoza in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian-Federico Dolić in the 46th minute of play forced Dingos from hell's goalkeeper Jan-Olof Wallmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laurence Espinoza to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Dingos from hell's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Yao Ying came free, but Jan-Olof Wallmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Olof Wallmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Yao Ying, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Cristian-Federico Dolić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Olof Wallmark. Dingos from hell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian-Federico Dolić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 70 minutes of play, Oldham Athletic's Cristian-Federico Dolić made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Olof Wallmark was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oldham Athletic made a substitution. Sune Axelsson replaced Cristian-Federico Dolić. With his leg Guo Han Di managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Dingos from hell's Laurence Espinoza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 77th minute Zhao Yao Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Olof Wallmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurence Espinoza got free with Guo Han Di in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guo Han Di made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Or Kester sent off a good shot on target. Laurence Espinoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guo Han Di having to interfere. Guo Han Di made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Hjortsberg in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Dingos from hell's Or Kester made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guo Han Di was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Yao Ying in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Olof Wallmark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Olof Wallmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Axelsson in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dingos from hell players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oldham Athletic.
