The supporters of Hårdmen Slak booed when Jofurs Drängar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Skytt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kim Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wada Pedson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute of the match, Alfons Helström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kent Kyrk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 10th match minute, Jofurs Drängar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vedat Arslanoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Kim Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Termander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Zachrisson in the 15th minute of play forced Jofurs Drängar's goalkeeper Kim Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Jofurs Drängar's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Termander came free, but Kim Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Zachrisson in the 28th minute of play forced Jofurs Drängar's goalkeeper Kim Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Jofurs Drängar getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Vedat Arslanoğlu hit a great ball. Kim Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Termander in the 29th minute of play. Sven-Ove Ingvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kim Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vedat Arslanoğlu got free with Kent Kyrk in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kim Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Zachrisson in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Magnus Glad to make the kick off. Kent Kyrk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 52nd minute of play. Kim Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Zachrisson in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Henry Smedfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kent Kyrk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 65th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Topocho Schiller sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kim Åkesson skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute Magnus Glad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Kyrk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
