In the 7th minute of the match Daniel Törnblom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marty Perryman skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Rune Tönnberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marty Perryman was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When Jonas Rosendahl fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Marty Perryman was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Rune Tönnberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rune Tönnberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Marty Perryman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Tönnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Helberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sonstorps Fotboll's Jørg Heichendorff got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Rickard Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rickard Eriksson couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Rävlunda FF's goalkeeper Marty Perryman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Törnblom. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Sonstorps Fotboll's zone, Rickard Eriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janne Katt came out of the goal and Rickard Eriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. Eric Bark kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Tony Jonsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Janne Katt skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Eriksson got free with Janne Katt in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Tönnberg in the 79th minute of play forced Rävlunda FF's goalkeeper Marty Perryman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes Daniel Törnblom shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Rävlunda FF's Marty Perryman to catch but Daniel Törnblom was lucky. It became 4-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Jens-Åke Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rävlunda FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Åke Snell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Rune Tönnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marty Perryman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Eriksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Janne Katt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Zebastian Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
