LeicestersKickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão de Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guo Han Di breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kiki Monginsidi to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to LeicestersKickers getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. John Kellbom hit a great ball. Oldham Athletic made a substitution. William Tingelholm replaced Muhammed-Emir Benice. The supporters of Oldham Athletic booed when LeicestersKickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Kellbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes in the game, Sune Axelsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Janne Oblak having to interfere. Janne Oblak made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Zhao Yao Ying sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, LeicestersKickers's goalkeeper Janne Oblak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhao Yao Ying. Despite being the better team, Oldham Athletic failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
