Kent Kyrk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian-Federico Dolić went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bengt Termander to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Oldham Athletic were awarded a corner. Filippo Bobbio went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Valter Abrahamsson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 58 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Zachrisson came free, but Guo Han Di reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valter Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kent Kyrk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Hårdmen Slak's Kent Kyrk got control of the ball when Zhao Yao Ying tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oldham Athletic's Filippo Bobbio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kent Kyrk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Oldham Athletic players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
