La vecchia signora's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Lundqvist in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of La vecchia signora booed when Mantorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Wennerlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Olof Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Han Solo in the 14th minute of the match. Thomas Ravelli was a little too slow when Aaron Lundqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Mantorp's Aaron Lundqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Ravelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CJ Kane scored 1-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Olof Gummeson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-Olof Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Kane in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, La vecchia signora's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Lundqvist came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Aaron Lundqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mantorp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. La vecchia signora's Thomas Ravelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save La vecchia signora from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. CJ Kane was the one to do the kick off. When Aaron Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Mantorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Lundqvist couldn't finish the play. Sven-Olof Gummeson made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Han Solo sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, one of Mantorp:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mantorp. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Lundqvist in the 75th minute of play forced La vecchia signora's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Mantorp's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gummeson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Han Solo. Aaron Lundqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Ravelli having to make a save. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Lundqvist in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Edvard Enström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Olofsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Ravelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anders Olofsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Mantorp made a substitution. Peter Bolin replaced Bernt Kihlberg. Sven-Olof Gummeson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Han Solo in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Mantorp's Sven-Olof Gummeson got control of the ball when Han Solo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Lundqvist in the 97th minute of play. The La vecchia signora players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mantorp from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
