BK Stolpskott's Augusto Kimetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Kihlberg in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute Jarno Helin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Valdemar Hurtig fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Augusto Kimetz, passed just outside the right post. Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Kimetz made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Aaron Lundqvist sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tom Häger was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes BK Stolpskott got a freekick which was hit by Henric Pihlwall. After 55 minutes of play, Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Kimetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Kihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Augusto Kimetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernt Kihlberg's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The audience was convinced that Bernt Kihlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Kimetz was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Kihlberg in the 92nd minute of play forced BK Stolpskott's goalkeeper Augusto Kimetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mantorp fans cheered their team off the field, for while BK Stolpskott had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
