The crowd rose to their feet as FC Nova's James Rodriguez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dennis Unesson. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. In the 20th match minute, Brandbergen Bears was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Tunberg to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, FC Nova's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Erik Tunberg came free, but Johannes Riese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Unesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Bollström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hannes Stolpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakob Fredriksson in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johannes Riese saved FC Nova from getting behind. In the 37th minute Måns Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Unesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Riese stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Erik Källberg's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When Jack Bollström, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dennis Unesson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, FC Nova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a little luck, FC Nova's Johannes Riese got control of the ball when Jens-Erik Källberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jens-Erik Källberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johannes Riese. That made the score 1-1 in the 66 minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Brandbergen Bears's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Stolpe came free, but Dennis Unesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Brandbergen Bears booed when FC Nova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Måns Engström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jens-Erik Källberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johannes Riese. That made the score 1-2 in the 77 minute of play. Dennis Unesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Stolpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jakob Fredriksson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jack Bollström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dennis Unesson. Brandbergen Bears's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jens-Erik Källbergs short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Johannes Riese to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
