The Öjeby IF fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Öjeby IF's Ronaldo Sharkin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Sharkin in the 11th minute of play forced Åmselle BF's goalkeeper Oskar Malmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Öjeby IF were awarded a corner. Jim Sundberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Öjeby IF's Jim Sundberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Oskar Malmgren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 14th minute, Ulysses Donatello fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oskar Malmgren, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Ståhlberg in the 18th minute of play forced Öjeby IF's goalkeeper Tim Wennerquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulysses Donatello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oskar Malmgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Öjeby IF got a corner. Åmselle BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jim Sundberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 28th minute, Sven-Åke Ståhlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29 played minutes Öjeby IF got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Eriksson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Ståhlberg in the 31st minute of play forced Öjeby IF's goalkeeper Tim Wennerquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Wennerquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Hamnberg in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Åmselle BF booed when Öjeby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Björkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Wennerquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Ståhlberg in the 35th minute of play. Magne Kling kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Jim Sundberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oskar Malmgren skillfully saved the ball. Ulysses Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Oskar Malmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Sharkin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Öjeby IF's Tim Wennerquist got control of the ball when Sven-Åke Ståhlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Öjeby IF's Tim Wennerquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Hamnberg in the 53rd minute of play. Tim Wennerquist made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Arne Hamnberg sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Sharkin in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oskar Malmgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Wennerquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Engström in the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Åke Ståhlberg got free with Tim Wennerquist in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Åmselle BF's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Donatello came free, but Oskar Malmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Öjeby IF's Ulysses Donatello made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oskar Malmgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64thth minute of the game Ronaldo Sharkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åmselle BF's Oskar Malmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Öjeby IF's goalkeeper Tim Wennerquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Åke Ståhlberg. After 69 played minutes Åmselle BF got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Larsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Donatello in the 70th minute of play forced Åmselle BF's goalkeeper Oskar Malmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bohumír Lisý kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Åmselle BF's Pelle Vikström was substituted for Kasper Linquist. In the 72nd match minute, Öjeby IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohumír Lisý to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Engström got free with Tim Wennerquist in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Åke Ståhlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Åmselle BF's Irman Roos was substituted for Jan Löfdahl. After 77 played minutes Åmselle BF got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Ståhlberg. After a rather tough play, Öjeby IF's Ulysses Donatello got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Donatello in the 79th minute of play forced Åmselle BF's goalkeeper Oskar Malmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tory Nichols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tim Wennerquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
