After a defensive mix-up in United 11 FC's zone, Alexander Kollberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Biörnberg came out of the goal and Alexander Kollberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Aquiles Tróia sped through Mightynes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gunder Röd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Urdoi in the 21st minute of play forced United 11 FC's goalkeeper Michel Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Runeberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alexander Kollberg struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Michel Biörnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mightynes FC. In the 23rd minute Olimpiu Urdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Biörnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mightynes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Kollberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Biörnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Kollberg in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. Mightynes FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
