The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Mightynes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Kollberg to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mightynes FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfons Lindberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Vilbergen Boys Club's players had a chance to rest. Alfons Lindberg made a great header on Vilbergen Boys Club's corner, it was just that Mightynes FC's Gunder Röd managed to reach the ball for a save. Baal Garry kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Gunder Röd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Josefsson in the 10th minute of the match. After 12 minutes Mightynes FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfons Lindberg who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Alfons Lindberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mightynes FC's Gunder Röd did a great save. Conny Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olimpiu Urdoi in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Georg Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Vilbergen Boys Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baal Garry to maneuver through the defense. Nils Tunander acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mathias Biörk. Olimpiu Urdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nils Tunander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilbergen Boys Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfons Lindberg in the 30th minute. Vilbergen Boys Club's Alfons Lindberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gunder Röd in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Conny Josefsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gunder Röd having to make a save. Conny Josefsson scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunder Röd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Kollberg in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nils Tunander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

51 minutes into the match, Vilbergen Boys Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Kollberg came free, but Nils Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conny Josefsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Gunder Röd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Conny Josefsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gunder Röd firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vilbergen Boys Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfons Lindberg in the 63rd minute. The corner ended in Alfons Lindberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mightynes FC's Gunder Röd did a great save. Georg Busk charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Georg Busk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Georg Busk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Kollberg in the 75th minute of play forced Vilbergen Boys Club's goalkeeper Nils Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Alexander Kollberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nils Tunander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nils Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Kollberg in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Urdoi in the 83rd minute of play forced Vilbergen Boys Club's goalkeeper Nils Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Mightynes FC's Alexander Kollberg made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils Tunander was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Vilbergen Boys Club's Conny Josefsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gunder Röd. That made the score 3-2 after 91 minutes of play. Conny Josefsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gunder Röd made a huge save.
