With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Östman in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Almkvist saved Udinese from getting behind. In the 11th minute Swindon Sweden FF were awarded a corner. Brian Falck went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Swindon Sweden FF's Marcus Östman to fire away a dangerous shot which Dan Almkvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Betão Machado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Reynaldo Tino firmly grabbed it by the left post. Udinese's Dan Almkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Haglund in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Lundgren in the 23rd minute of play forced Swindon Sweden FF's goalkeeper Reynaldo Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marcus Östman sped through Udinese's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dan Almkvist. Dan Almkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Östman in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Swindon Sweden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Lundgren came free, but Reynaldo Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Östman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Dan Almkvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Östman got free with Dan Almkvist in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Swindon Sweden FF fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Swindon Sweden FF's Marcus Östman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Udinese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betão Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Swindon Sweden FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
