Casper Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Lundgren in the 24th minute of the match. Casper Vennerström made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Betão Machado sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute Udinese were awarded a corner. Joacim Berggren went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice moves Jan-Erik Ahlfors could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Casper Vennerström however easily saved by the left post. 35 minutes into the match, IFK Bajenby's Adolphe De Coster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Almkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 minutes Udinese's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olov Tunander who took care of the corner kick. Romeo Beltza hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half IFK Bajenby were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils-Åke Lundgren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Betão Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Vennerström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Casper Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Machado in the 55th minute of play. Casper Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Lundgren in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Betão Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Bajenby's Casper Vennerström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Almkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Torsberg in the 59th minute of play. Dan Almkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarl Torsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Machado in the 68th minute of play forced IFK Bajenby's goalkeeper Casper Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, IFK Bajenby's Dan Almkvist threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarl Torsberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, IFK Bajenby's Johannes Sundén got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betão Machado in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Vennerström saved IFK Bajenby from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Betão Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Vennerström was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Nils-Åke Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Udinese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Åke Lundgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Betão Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Vennerström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Åke Lundgren's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Casper Vennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Åke Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolphe De Coster might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Almkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Almkvist made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Adolphe De Coster sent off a good shot on target. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
