Spectators: 8147 (Terracing: 6111, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martin Mutumba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Godholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Jacinto Cesario did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Andreas Lindqvist 12 minutes into the match. Jacinto Cesario might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Lindqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Cesario ran back to his position shaking his head. Georg Godholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 16th minute of play. Georg Godholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Bengt-Arne Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Godholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Alf Fredriksson in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vykans Vikingar's Jose Indalecio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Cesario in the 27th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Andreas Lindqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match FC Shifen III got a corner. Vykans Vikingar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Freddy Dimo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st minute Bengt-Arne Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Godholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Jelm came free, but Andreas Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alf Fredriksson made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Melker Jokiranta. Andreas Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Cesario in the 36th minute of the match. Georg Godholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Shifen III's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernan Berart was slow to take the kick. During this time Vykans Vikingar's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Vykans Vikingar's Jose Indalecio to fire away a dangerous shot which Georg Godholm despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 40th minute of play forced FC Shifen III's goalkeeper Georg Godholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Godholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Georg Godholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, FC Shifen III's goalkeeper Georg Godholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Börje Stål replaced Hugo Eden. Martin Fossum made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kristoffer Jelm immediately put the ball in play. Georg Godholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 63rd minute of play. Georg Godholm was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Bengt-Arne Haglund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vykans Vikingar's Andreas Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Cesario in the 86th minute of play. Bengt-Arne Haglund struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Georg Godholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vykans Vikingar. Vykans Vikingar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
