Osvald Uter scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arvin Bollström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Osvald Uter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Wikander in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Ekerö IF's Freddie Wikander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Martinsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvald Uter got free with Arvin Bollström in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Robin Fanström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arvin Bollström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Rutledge, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of LA VIOLA booed when Ekerö IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Biörnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvin Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Rutledge in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Freddie Wikander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Martinsson was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Wikander in the 44th minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Felix Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Freddie Wikander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Svante Bäckman charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Svante Bäckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LA VIOLA getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Svante Bäckman hit a great ball. Felix Martinsson made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Aquiles Lizar sent off a good shot on target. If Freddie Wikander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ekerö IF's Mixeil Mix got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Rutledge in the 67th minute of play forced Ekerö IF's goalkeeper Arvin Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, LA VIOLA's Henrik Wickander seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Henrik Wickander the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LA VIOLA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Henrik Wickander had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Kenny Högberg's late challenge caught a Ekerö IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenny Högberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LA VIOLA getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Kenny Högberg hit a great ball. Arvin Bollström came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by LA VIOLA's Albert Rutledge. But to his dismay, Albert Rutledge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Bengt-Arne Biörnberg took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Felix Martinsson to make any attempt to save it. Ekerö IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
