Mark Nilsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Klas Aronsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. Best Man was slow to take the kick. During this time Djurgårdens IF's players had a chance to rest. Fårdala FF's Gunnar Håning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Best Man in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Trawel got free with Mark Nilsson in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Fårdala FF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Steve Trawel hit a great ball. Best Man scored 2-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Håning, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Djurgårdens IF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Fårdala FF to leave the ground with a draw.
