In the 5th minute of the match, Alf Nilsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gordon Banke was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 8 minutes into the match, Orreboy Royals's goal looked a bit too open when Paredes Malvido came free, but Gordon Banke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Törnqvist in the 10th minute of play forced Hortlax's goalkeeper Emanuel Coja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Orreboy Royals getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Törnqvist hit a great ball. Orreboy Royals's Gordon Banke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Orreboy Royals from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Hortlax's Gordon Banke threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paredes Malvido, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Alf Nilsson came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Hortlax fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Nilsson couldn't finish the play. Gordon Banke made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Leo Weterio sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute Eliézer Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Coja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Hortlax's corner Aleksander Frøystad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gordon Banke quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paredes Malvido in the 37th minute of play forced Orreboy Royals's goalkeeper Gordon Banke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Nilsson took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gordon Banke. Gordon Banke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliézer Sampaio to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Karl-Magnus Törnqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orreboy Royals's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Magnus Törnqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Coja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 53 minutes into the match, Hortlax's goalkeeper Emanuel Coja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliézer Sampaio. Orreboy Royals were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Hortlax's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Birger Berglund took the corner. The corner led Orreboy Royals's Birger Berglund to fire away a dangerous shot which Emanuel Coja despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 56th minute Paredes Malvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Banke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Orreboy Royals's Oliver Beckeman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Coja. Emanuel Coja yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Hortlax's Isac Dărmănescu got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Nilsson in the 66th minute of play forced Orreboy Royals's goalkeeper Gordon Banke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orreboy Royals's Gordon Banke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Weterio in the 67th minute of play. If Min Boll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Orreboy Royals's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Weterio came free, but Gordon Banke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hortlax booed when Orreboy Royals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Cuevas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjell Arvidsson charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Arvidsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Orreboy Royals getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. A hard shot 84 in the game by Eliézer Sampaio from a close distance when the talented Emanuel Coja managed to make a qualified save. Hortlax's players were relieved. Eliézer Sampaio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Coja came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliézer Sampaio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 85th minute. A collision led to Orreboy Royals getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Leonard Hjelm hit a great ball. Johannes Caspersson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Orreboy Royals were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Hortlax's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Birger Berglund took the corner. Asdrubal Rodríguez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Orreboy Royals walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
