Thanks to some nice moves Karl-Magnus Törnqvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Qian Xing Wei however easily saved by the left post. If Hubert Siöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gordon Banke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Senthil Suşu in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Orreboy Royals's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Brun came free, but Gordon Banke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliézer Sampaio had several of the Eleven Nation Army's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Qian Xing Wei as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gordon Banke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Senthil Suşu in the 28th minute of the match. Gordon Banke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senthil Suşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birger Berglund was slow to take the kick. During this time Orreboy Royals's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Asdrubal Rodríguez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when Orreboy Royals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Törnqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubert Siöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
