Spectators: 7963 (Terracing: 5974, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leo Weterio kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Panos Kanadopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hortlax's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mellbystrand IK the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Hortlax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Kanadopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Candido Urbes scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Coja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Kurt Brogren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Emanuel Coja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Mellbystrand IK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Vasil Krezhov hit a great ball. Daniel Alrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Weterio in the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Hortlax defense, Candido Urbes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Coja. The Hortlax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Coja should have stopped the shot. After 24 minutes, Bernt Malmström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hortlax and the Mellbystrand IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mellbystrand IK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Konrad Nordin in the 27th minute. The corner ended in Niclas Vesterberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hortlax's Emanuel Coja did a great save. Daniel Alrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 40th play minute Kurt Brogren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emanuel Coja. 4-0. Emanuel Coja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Brogren in the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Hortlax got a freekick which was hit by Panos Kanadopoulos. In the 46th minute, Kurt Brogren made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Coja. Hortlax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Mellbystrand IK made a substitution. Vinícius I replaced Nils-Åke Magnusson. In the 51st minute Leo Weterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Alrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurt Brogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Alrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Weterio in the 58th minute of play forced Mellbystrand IK's goalkeeper Daniel Alrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Isac Dărmănescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Alrot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emanuel Coja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Urbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Hortlax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Dărmănescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mellbystrand IK made a substitution. Björn Ekström replaced Candido Urbes. After 71 minutes of play, Mellbystrand IK's Kurt Brogren made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Coja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Alrot made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Leo Weterio sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute Kurt Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Coja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kurt Brogren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Coja was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand IK's Kurt Brogren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Coja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Vinícius I hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Brogren might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Coja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Brogren ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mellbystrand IK's Kurt Brogren in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hortlax's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hortlax's goalkeeper Emanuel Coja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mellbystrand IK's Leif Ahlbeck got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Mellbystrand IK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
