The audience thought a goal was coming when Babe Baadegaard got free with Erik Skog in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Jamil came free, but Erik Skog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, PP Plessydask's goal looked a bit too open when Rähim Sterling came free, but Jan Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jan Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Skog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hjalmar Haegg in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goalkeeper Erik Skog had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Babe Baadegaard. 13 minutes into the match, PP Plessydask's goal looked a bit too open when Donato de Salles came free, but Jan Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hjalmar Haegg in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Skog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erik Skog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Haegg in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Viktor Albäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jan Abrahamsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute Michael Kvalfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of PP Plessydask booed when Garphyttan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. The coaching staff of PP Plessydask protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lu Sheng Peng had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PP Plessydask! After the first half Garphyttan were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hjalmar Haegg to make the kick off. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
