Braulio Corderro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Sjöberg in the 44th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Magnus Runeberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Corderro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Martin Vacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hugo Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Olympiakos lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
