King Koopa might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristoffer Västerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. King Koopa ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Bengt-Rune Nyman in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Axbergs IF's Jakob Kjellbom. Axbergs IF's Jakob Kjellbom quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Torbjörn Samuelsson, made in the 24th minute of the game. Kuido Ööpik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ben Şah's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléber Barbosa in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristoffer Västerberg saved IFK Fjärås from getting behind. Kléber Barbosa took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristoffer Västerberg. Kristoffer Västerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ben Şah made a kick off. After taking down the ball on Axbergs IF's corner Ali Süleyman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kristoffer Västerberg quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Axbergs IF's Ali Süleyman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristoffer Västerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Axbergs IF's zone, Ivan Överman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuido Ööpik came out of the goal and Ivan Överman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kléber Barbosa took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristoffer Västerberg. Kristoffer Västerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Kuido Ööpik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Överman in the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esat Kemalettin got free with Kuido Ööpik in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Kléber Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristoffer Västerberg was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 84th minute Ben Şah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuido Ööpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuido Ööpik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Nyman in the 85th minute of play. Kristoffer Västerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuido Ööpik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Şah, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd match minute, IFK Fjärås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Samuelsson to maneuver through the defense. IFK Fjärås's Johannes Kilström was substituted for Ivan Överman.
