Simon Askelöf's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed André Nordmark - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 5th minute. Szimbas Lejonflock's Anton Beck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Fagrell in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Fagrell in the 9th minute of play forced Szimbas Lejonflock's goalkeeper Anton Beck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Szimbas Lejonflock's Caetano Mourinho in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Blueskatterna's goalie prevented a goal. Anton Beck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Fagrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 22nd minute Caetano Mourinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Szimbas Lejonflock getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Isac Blom hit a great ball. André Nordmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Mourinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Nordmark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Askelöf in the 28th minute. Kjell Hurtig hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. André Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Blom in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Björkman in the 41st minute of play forced Szimbas Lejonflock's goalkeeper Anton Beck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Szimbas Lejonflock's Caetano Mourinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Nordmark. That made the score 2-0 after 44 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Björkman to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Szimbas Lejonflock got a freekick which was hit by Hans Njurenius. 53 minutes into the match, Szimbas Lejonflock's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Björkman came free, but Anton Beck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szimbas Lejonflock's Anton Beck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Björkman in the 54th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Caetano Mourinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caetano Mourinho in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Nordmark saved FC Blueskatterna from getting behind. Caetano Mourinho scored 3-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Nordmark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Szimbas Lejonflock's Anton Beck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Björkman in the 76th minute of play.
