When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Qiao Nan Wen put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kristian Törnqvist. Nicolae Dobrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kristian Törnqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiao Nan Wen in the 11th minute of play forced Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flamengo's August Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pär Groth in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Idrottsklubben -03's goal looked a bit too open when Qiao Nan Wen came free, but Kristian Törnqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. August Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Andersson in the 17th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Qiao Nan Wen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Stefan Andersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo's August Hjortberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Herman Örtendahl in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Flamengo's Doğuş Falcıoğlu. In the 35th minute, Pär Groth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. August Hjortberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Enström, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Flamengo's August Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Andersson in the 38th minute of play. The Flamengo fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Flamengo's Qiao Nan Wen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stefan Andersson made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Stolpe to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Andersson came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Flamengo's August Hjortberg got control of the ball when Pär Groth tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute, Qiao Nan Wen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristian Törnqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Flamengo made a substitution. Kasper Bivall replaced Qiao Nan Wen. Kasper Bivall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Pär Groth reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of August Hjortberg. The goal made the score 5-2. In the 74th minute Flamengo were awarded a corner. Li Nan Yu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Flamengo's corner Li Nan Yu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kristian Törnqvist quite easily take care of the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77thth minute of the game Kasper Bivall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Idrottsklubben -03's Kristian Törnqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. August Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pär Odén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Idrottsklubben -03's Henrik Flink was substituted for Pär Odén. Kasper Bivall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Törnqvist having to interfere. With a little luck, Flamengo's August Hjortberg got control of the ball when Henrik Flink tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match, Stefan Andersson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but August Hjortberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kasper Bivall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kasper Bivall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristian Törnqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Flamengo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Idrottsklubben -03 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
