Norrlands Athen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Commander Crowe the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qian Jian Wei to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Commander Crowe's Nicasio Gotzon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Safet Hands narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute Commander Crowe were awarded a corner. Narciso Noe went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Commander Crowe's Jimmie Käcker to fire away a dangerous shot which Safet Hands despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Commander Crowe's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Lebron came free, but Edvard Fagerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute of the game Håkan Västerstrand made a throw-in which Bruno Costa played forward. Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Gotzon in the 19th minute of play. Safet Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Norrlands Athen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Måns Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Måns Sandberg in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvard Fagerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Norrlands Athen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Narciso Noe was slow to take the kick. During this time Commander Crowe's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Lebron in the 39th minute of play forced Commander Crowe's goalkeeper Edvard Fagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvard Fagerberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Måns Sandberg in the 44th minute. Narciso Noe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Gotzon in the 52nd minute of play. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Noe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathias Alrot kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Måns Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrlands Athen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Måns Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Commander Crowe's Tony Andreasson was substituted for Bruno Costa. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Calle Bergfelt replaced Mathias Alrot. Edvard Fagerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Lebron in the 65th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Andreasson got free with Safet Hands in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Norrlands Athen from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Christian Wennerlund could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Safet Hands however easily saved by the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Commander Crowe players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Norrlands Athen.
